Taxalign is a UK based accounting service built by an experienced founder in the tax and compliance space.
We worked directly with the founder to design and develop a website that reflects real operational knowledge, not assumptions. Every decision was grounded in how the service actually runs and how clients actually interact with it.
Project overview
The aim of this project was to translate deep, category level expertise into an experience that feels immediately clear to non experts. Working directly with a founder who understands the space intimately, the website was shaped around how the service actually operates rather than how accounting services are usually presented. The focus was on reducing cognitive load, removing unnecessary explanation, and presenting information only when it becomes relevant, allowing founders to understand the service, build trust, and move forward without friction.

With the service model already well defined, the work focused on refinement rather than exploration. The designs that follow are the result of deliberate reduction, where clarity, trust, and ease of understanding were achieved by removing anything that did not serve the core experience.
