Helping a new UK accounting startup simplify how businesses file taxes online

Taxalign is a new UK-based accounting startup that wanted to make company accounts and tax filing easier for small businesses. Instead of following the usual corporate look most accounting websites use, we designed a single page landing experience that feels modern, friendly, and easy to understand.

The goal was to keep everything straightforward with no clutter or unnecessary sections, just a clear path from learning what the service is to getting started. The layout flows naturally with a focus on simplicity and quick action. Every section guides the user closer to their goal without any distractions.

We built a calm and confident visual system that reflects the reliability of the service. The use of space, color, and type helps the content breathe and gives the site a sense of ease that is often missing in traditional financial platforms.

All illustrations were created in house to support visual communication and add warmth to the overall experience. They make complex tax ideas feel lighter and more approachable, giving the brand a friendly personality.

For typography, we chose the Matter font family for its clean and balanced character. It keeps the interface readable while adding a subtle sense of authority, fitting perfectly for a young accounting brand that wants to appear both modern and trustworthy.
